Weavers Cottage – Kilbarchan - Derek recently went to the Weavers Cottage in Kilbarchan, which is run by the National Trust for Scotland. He spoke to Derek Alexander, Archaeologist with the trust, about some of the recent digs at the back of the cottage.
Alan Sturmey in Myanmar - Over the years we have been kept in touch with Alan Sturmey’s son Nick, now living in Myanmar. We attended his wedding on tape. Alan and his wife Jennifer recently visited Nick, and from the lounge of their home gave us a description of the sights and sounds of the area.
Sound Site 2005 - Margaret, David, and Gordon Luke paid a visit to this year’s Annual Sound Site Exhibition of Equipment and Services in Glasgow’s Quality Central Hotel. Next month we will have a full report, but here is Gordon’s report for this month.
