Sauchiehall Street Avenues Project
Over the past couple of years extensive redevelopment of Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street has taken place, where two cycle lanes are incorporated behind the bus shelter then the car lanes. It’s been a layout which has caused lots of problems for the visually impaired using public transport. It's proposed that 16 more of these projects will happen around Glasgow in the next few years. Brian West and Margaret Cowie went to have a look. Peter Fraser spoke to Sandy Taylor from the National Federation of the Blind.
